Hi,
to collect the various information regarding compatibility TTQV4 and
Windows 7, please collect here what you already have experienced!
Please keep in mind:
- prior to testing, a complete installation of TTQV4.0.123c is recommended!
Updating to 4.0.123c may do, but, in case of problems, please run a
TTQV4.0.123c complete setup right over your existing TTQV4 installation
and please redo the testing!
- always post complete information, <functionality XXX> <does>/<doesnot>
work with TTQV4 using <Windows7 -64bit> or <Windows7 -32bit>
- our focus is less on basic functionality which does work as far as we
know, as long as you use TTQV4.0.123c or better. It is more like things
where external dlls and fileformats are involved, like reading *.ecw,
importing maps from extrenal sources/distributors, creating Garmin
*.img... wahtever you consider to be of relevance!
- also, it is not about things you do not see working in WinXP too, it is
about things that usually do work, but do/or not under Windos 7
- if some discussion needs to arise from points made in this thread,
please create a separate topic. This one should be the collecting thread only!
