I needed to re-install QV6 and used qv6_setup with size 45.6441KB downloaded on 14 April 2012. During installation I receive the following error lic_Prepare 8192, this version of the license file is not supported C:\Users\Public\Documents\QV6_Data\_lic\lp_ttqv5b.lic Consequently I only have the freeware version which is insufficient for my needs. My license is for TTQV5.
How do I register this product?

your TTQV5 license should work with QV6 - you can download the latest QV6 setup from the links in this thread Downloads QuoVadis 6
In this lp_ttqv5b.lic file are all your license keys - do you have entered other registrations for maps before or only the key for the software? If you've no maps with registration keys I think it would be safe to rename the file and retry to register the software. If you've registered map you would have to re-register all again and maybe there's another solution to avoid entering all keys again.
If it does not fix the issue please just ask again.
