The system.report gives some hints about the graphics in mapwindow.
Unpack the qvx.ini from the attached zip and copy it into the folder QVX_Data in your home-directory.
This should start QVX without map-window.
Any changes?

I am not familiar with MacOS's details. Where is the folder QVX_Data & the home-directory in MacOS?
I think I have found the QVX_Data which is located directly under my home folder. I copy the qvx.ini into the directory as suggested. However, still the spinning colour wheel & the application hang up. I attach the Force-Quit report for your reference.
Just for your information, the cause of the problem is found and you can expect the update in the next one or two days.
Sorry for the late reply. I've been away on a cruise for the past 2 weeks during which internet access is very limited or non-existent.
Bingo! The QVX program is working now! I shall have 25 days to try it out.
