Can anybody help me reading .cal file from QuoVadis 7 to Quovadis X

  • Hello,

Can anybody please help me with this problem...

I have a .jpg map file with a .cal calibration file that reads well on QuoVadis 7.4.0.5 for windows.

It opens an is well calibrated as I checked with a .gpx track and comparing with GongleMaps.

However when I open the same map file on QuoVadis X 1.0.9.9 for Mac it doesn't read the same calibration data from the .cal file.

    Is there any incompatibility?

    How can I open it?

If useful I can send .cal and raster map, and a .gpx file with a track to check it.

    Thanks,

    Luis

  • Hi Luis,

    i have two ideas:

Save your cal file and try to export a new one with QV7:

Or try to import the hole QV7 Database, where the map is stored in. I don`t know if this is possible in the mac Version, but just give it a try. Perhaps you have to edit the path to the jepg-map in QVX.

    Does it work?

    Greetings

  • should but does not result with 1.09.12
