Hi!
When I make a tracklog visible on QV2.0, together with the trackline also appears a straigth line that goes from the tracklog's last point to first one point.
Does anyone knows why do this happens and how to eliminate it?
Thanks
Rui

Hello Rui,
this happens, if the "FP" (firstpoint) Indicator is not set for the first point of a Track. Open Track, mark the first point, below, in detail window, set the "FP" checker, save.
Please check the coordinates of the last points of the track, perhaps the last points are near the first point. (Some GPS-receivers generate one or two additional trackpoints if they are switched on for the data transfer.) If this is the case, delete the extra points.
Hi
Everything is OK. Inspite of your sugestions the problem still remains.
Could it be because I don't have all the maps calibrated, i.e., all the maps that contains the tracklog?
Thanks
Rui
No, all the maps are already calibrated and it still has the straight line.
Strange. You are really sure that there is no extra point? Perhaps it is at the beginning. Or perhaps the straight line belongs to another track?
Rui,
please send a screenshot showing the problemin *.jpg format, just to make certain we understand what problem you are talking about.
No, I think there are no extra points.
Tonight I will try to downloadit directly from the GPS to see what happens.
I will post the result.
Thanks a lot.

Hi
Here's what I've done:
I've upload the tracklog from an *.mps file into GPS active memory and then I've download it into QV.
The result was: no straight line anymore.
I think it was some "bad tunning" from myself in my *.txt file.
Thanks
Rui
