IGN Bayo 3

V3 geht nicht mit TTQV3, versuche es mit der TTQv4.

Die Suchfunktion hier im Forum (und in http://www.naviboard.de), in deren Beitraegen Du finden wirst, dass das nicht moeglich ist bzw. kein verwertbares Ergebnis liefert, da IGN bzw. Bayo das Format aus eben diesem Grund gegeneuber der vorherigen Version veraendert haben.

Ich kann bestaetigen, dass sich IGN/Bayo 25K und 100K Karten (Bayo V. 3) in TTQV4 importieren lassen, und zwar mit Autokalibrierung. Ich kann Dir die neue Version nur empfehlen!

Hi Gurvan,

purchasing new map editions of this type is risky! As long as they come
as edition 2 maps, TTQV4 can read them! If they are of a higher map edition,
then there is no way.
If it comes to french maps there is an alternaitve, the french maps sold at:
http://www.memory-map.co.uk/
can be read by TTQV. However, you then have to calibrate them.

So, if I understand you correctly, if they are written 3 anywhere on them, I should run away ?

To the best of my knowledge they do, but I do not have them to try. If you
want to be 100% certain, search the forum for "memory", where threads may
be listed, mentioning these maps. Or name the maps in this thread,
and hope for some owner to answer!

I was more hopping for IGN to give those maps for free...

After all, I have already paid them with my taxes !

I will, as soon as I am back in France, try to check with a dealer if those are compatible. The main importer must be less than 5km away from my home !

I have some Bayo Carto Exploreur 3 100K CDs, e.g. Provence Cote d'Azur, 1ere Edition, which open perfectly in TTQV4 with autocalibration. However, reading threads in the German part of the site, it would seem that Bayo has changed some element of their coding to prevent third party programmes, such as TTQV, from reading the current discs. I cannot define which Exploreur 3 CDs will not open in TTQV, but it seems the newest ones will not.

I have the Memory Map DVD France 100K and can confirm that it opens perfectly in TTQV4 but needs calibration. The same is true of the "Road Atlas France" 250K, though I am not 100% happy with the calibration, compared to the curved printed lat/long on the map. It seems to fit acceptably with Navteq2005/Q4.

Diese Nachrichten sind schon 2 Jahr alt, ich möchte nur fragen ob es Was neues gibt. Ich habe TTQV4 und möchte Karten vom IGN 25000 importieren. Wie mache ich es am besten.
Ich habe mal Géorando liberté mit ein paar 100km2 Karten gekauft, die Karten sind aber geschützt, man kann sie anscheinend nur mit der Software von IGN verwenden.
Gibt es Was von BAYO zu kaufen oder andere Alternativen. Von MemoryMap habe ich erfahren, dass man ihre Karten auch nur mit der eigenen Software lesen kann...

die Memory_Maps Karten lassen sich soweit ich weiß im aktuellen QV lesen, Du mußt die jeweilige Karte nur selbst kalibrieren.

Ich habe einen Satz Karten von Memory Maps, allerdings bereits seit 2 Jahren. Die lassen sich lesen muss man aber, wie Jockel sagt, selber kalibrieren.
Neue Bayo Karten sind nicht lesefähig. Die GeoRando Karten sind noch unhandlicher, da gibts nichtmal ein Gitter, so dass der Umweg Screenshot und stitchen ebenfalls versperrt ist oder zumindest sehr aufwändig.

eine mühsame Alternative ist das Stitchen und Kalibrieren der Kacheln aus geoportail.fr
