One question regarding ordering...

    After all the good advices I got from you guys, I am seriously considering ordering your software.


    One question though. On the French dealer website, there are 2 versions at the same price of TTQV Standard (I don't think that I can justify going extra for the power user version... :( ). One is for download and the other one if for a CD, a manual and so on... Said like this, it should be a no-brainer ! Just go for the one with the manual !


    Alas right now, I am away from home and for quite a long time... Thus the download version sounds great...


    But as we say in French, I would like to have "the butter and the money of the butter"... That is buy the version with CD and manual and just get the licence number through an email whereas the manual will be waiting back for me in France for when I'll be there. Also, the download version comes without the NAVTEQ database which could be of interest to me...


    So, is it possible to order the complete version (hopefully with an English or French manual), have it delivered in France and buy an extra licence that would allow me to keep using the version that I have right now ? I saw that the cost of that was about 15€ which is acceptable to me but I want to know if that is the correct way of doing it... ;)

    if you order "download only", you will miss the worldwide geograpical names
    database, the world overview maps (all on CD only) as well as a printed manual in english.


    If you order the manual/CD option, you will receive your licence by e-mail
    additionally, just in case this sould not happen, send me an e-mail.
    You simply enter the licence in your existing installation and you are fine,
    no need to reinstall!

    The point I don't understand then is why those two versions are at the same price on the French webshop... Does not make sense to me...


    I saw the differences between regular and Power User but I cannot justify them right now to my "Minister of Finance" ! :D So I'll settle for the regular version but thank nonetheless for the help you were able to provide me with...
