Does the New software support the Garmin 76. I think that's my problem with the 1.6+ ver. When I download my waypoints they come out as totally foreign numbers. Is there an update I can get or do I have to buy the new software.
yes, you are right. The old version 1.62 only supports the older Garmins. The most recent version 2.51.47 supports GPS76 as well.
Since Version 2.X this is a completely new software, so you must run the complete setup and install the software in a different folder (use the default setup folder).
