Can't seem to get my way points out of the M5
I downloaded the demo version of Touratech QV. I have my M5 connected in it's cradle through the the USB port. I have the settings in Touratech QV set for USB, Garmin/Garmin but it will not let me transfer waypoints or anything.
I get error message "No answer from Garmin on USB"
What am I doing wrong?
Is my M5 supported?
Is there any other way to get my waypoints in and out of Pathaway?
Also when I try the "beam" command from Pathaway/points database, nothing happens. Is this not supported in my M5?

Hi,
the simple thing is, it does not work that way. "Garmin M5" is a PDA, no GPS
receiver. The place where you altered the settings is for GPS-receivers only.If you want to exchange WP/RT/TR between TTQV3 and your M5:
- put your M5 in the cradle and get in sync with your PC
- in TTQV3, options, settings Palm/Pocket-PC, set
8-bit, dother= off, compressed=on, 3x3 WGS84, PW3 PPC compatible
- open TTQV3 / QV-Xplorer
- place your cursor on a WP- or RT- or TR- folder and select the import Icon
from the menu, select "PATHAWAY PPC WPs" or alike.Exporting data to your M5 works quite the same pattern.
