After having added a symbol in the draw square, I cannot release the mouse, despite pressing Esc key, it still continue to add the same symbol on each click. How to release the action ?

With TTQV4, when positionning the cursor on a route line and clicking the right button, it is possible to add a wpt or to move a displayed wpt. I cannot find this functionnality on QV7 nor the in the user guide

I have succesfully loaded img maps (from Marroco) into my Garmin 276C using the TTQV option loading img maps from hard disk. According to TTQV and 276C acknowledgments the map is loaded on the memory card, but I cannot display the maps on my Garmin.

I have also imported the img map into TTQV and TTQV display the map without any problem, I can display my own wpts on the map, etc..

On the Garmin, I have selected the map page menu, then the submenu "Data card information", and it only show the "Atlantic Autoroute" map

Maybe you can give me some advice on how to display the map on my 276C

After having ignored the message "c:\windows\system32\msxml..", TTQV4 could not start due to message error code 5.

I have then re-installed V4, but instead of using the Vista administrator account, I have used a standard user account without administrator right, and I have provided the administrator password at TTQV4 installation Vista message request. And then, oh miracle! V4 started

Hello, I'm coming back after 5 months (TTQV 4 purchased in August 07) to know if any progress have been made with the following installation problem:

"c:\windows\system32\msxml..dll, DLL/OCX konnte nicht registriert werden, LoadLibrary schlug fehl, Code 1114, eine DLL-Initialisierungsroutine ist fehlgeschlagen."

Today, I have downloaded your latest version and still the same installation error message either in English or in German.

I have browsed thru the forum, found many same questions about the same subject, but cannot understand the answers as it is in German.

I have skipped the error message, and restarted the computer after the installation. V4 is installed, but if I click on the icon to start it, nothing happen

, I have now received the TTQV V4 CD that I had ordered to your shop (tanja.ceschan). Like for the demo version, I still have with this CD the installation error on Vista 32 bits version:

c:\windows\system32\msxml.dll
Unable to register the DLL/OCX - load library failed code 1114.

I have the administrator access to my system, I have tried removing the TTQV V3 version, installation goes without any success.

I have tried with another friend PC vith Vista, I have the same error message

I have ordered the upgrade TTQV v3 to TTQV v4 and in the mean time I have downloaded TTQV v4 demo for testing it under Vista professionnal 32 bits. Cannot install it, I've received following installation error message:

If I'm trying to start TTQV v4, following error message:
QVerror:5 test code Invalid procedure call or argument

Same download demo version works on XP professional.

I'm looking to migrate from my TTQV V3 to V4. Before purchasing the new version, I have 5 questions:

1) Is V4 compatible vith Vista 32 bits?

2) Can V4 loads to a GPS (Garmin 276C) scanned maps calibrated with V3?

3) Are all my V3 data (wpts, rte, tracks, scanned maps calibrations, etc..) transferable to V4

4) Is it allowed to have the same V4 license loaded to my desktop (Vista) and my laptop (XP)?

5) Has V4 French interface?

I love your software, but it is very cumbersomne to enter manually waypoints. When entering Longitude and Latitude, e.g.: to enter N 33°, I have first to clear the 0 shown by default in order to be able to type 33, otherwise, I can enter only the figure 3. Same thing happen when entering a Latitude

I have not found in the user's guide how to be efficient when enterning manually waypoints, and I am currently entering many wpts from the Gandini book and would like a more confortable way of doing it.

with TTQV 3, when uploading and downloading waypoints from/to Garmin GPSmap 276C, the waypoints names are truncated from the Garmin 10 characters to 6 characters in the TTQV 3 database. The 10 characters from the TTQV database are truncated to 6 characters when exporting from TTQV to the Garmin

Does a correction exists?

I have succesfully tried the new version TTQV 3 and would like to pay directly the upgrade without receiving the CD, Books, etc.. It is not clear for me as I am not reading German and this will save me post and duties costs because I am not part of EU

Were can I connect to perform this upgrade by email ?

I have tried from my laptop (W2K professional as well) and it works, then
the cause is not due to TTQV.

I have done a complete re-installation of TTQV (Quo Vadis 1.6 and TTQV 2.0 was still in the same directory) in my desktop, but still have the problem. Therefore, it is due to my PC, and I will do further investigation

well, I use 2.51.8, but I do not think there were any changes in track upload since. But it would be better to check the problem with the latest TTQV Version. I uploaded a long track to GPSIII and Vista and there was no problem.

So:
Are there occasionally other devices attached to the same com-port as your GPS ?
Is Palm-hotsync, Virusscanner whatever else running in Background ?
Stop TTQV, rename "ttqv25b.ini" to "ttqv25b.ino", start TTQV and try upload again.

Does this happen with a special track only ?
Did you try with different tracks ?
When did this problem start, did you already see it with previous versions of TTQV ?

When I am downloading recorded tracks from TTQV 2.51.4 to my GPS Garmin III and Garmin GPSmap 128, the downlaod starts and immediately shuts down TTQV. No data is transfered to the GPS. Transfering waypoints and routes from TTQV to both GPS work fine.

in some cases ttqv generates small dot grm files (e.g.: 1.grm). It seems to me that it is used for tracking displaying. What is the purpose of these files? Shall we save them when creating back-ups of the waypoints files?
