How to tell if a vector map has been installed?

    I'm having a little trouble posting to the BB so I hope this doesn't show up more than two or three times!


    I have installed the vector map for Switzerland but I cannot tell if it is working or not. The level of detail seems the same to me whether it is in Switzerland or Germany or The Netherlands. That is, the level of detail in Frankfurt seems the same as the level of detail in Zurich.


    How can I check to make sure the Swiss vector map has been installed correctly?

    go to one of the bigger cities to make certain: if you look at Zurich, every
    small road in the citiy must be there. If it is not, you probabyl installed only one of the two files that were included with the CD.
    There is one file for Europe overland, and one file for Switzerland detail.
