I bought from CNIG (Centro Nacional de Informacio Geografica) maps called BCN 200 Archivo Raster.
I received a CD with 3 files for each maps with extension: TIF, TFW and ecw.
I tied to import in TTQV (either TIF or ecw). I got the map but the calibration is not good.
On the note I received they wrote:
"Georreferenciacion: Los ficheros estan georreferenciados segun ED50 (wgs84 Canarias) en proyeccion UTM".
Could you help about this.
Thanks a lot

Hi Jacques,
as long as I do not know the exact make of the *.tfw file, there are
different possibilitites. Anyway, you must know the UTM zone the map is
located in. Provided, you use the latest TTQV3.0.70:
a)
the mode of calibration is basically the same procedure as calibrating those
NASA Satellite files, described here:
http://bb.ttqv.com/index.php?p…readID=1286&highlight=sid
but you must set the map datum to "European Datum 1950"
or
b)
open QV X-plorer, set Datum in units to "European Datum 1950", select UTM,
then open the *.tif map for calibration, the *.tfw file is found, select the UTM Zone, save.Does it work in one of these ways ?

I still have some problems.
The structure of the *.TFW file is as follow:
Exemple:22.5 (tamano pixel X)
0.0 (Coeficient de giro Norte -no girado-)
0.0 (Coeficient de giro Sur -no girado-)
-22.5 (Tamano Pixel Y)
554046.000000 (Coordenadas X de la esquina de la imagen -no del macro- superior izquierda)
4751167.000000 (Coordenadas Y de la esquina de la imagen -no del macro- superior izquierda)Thanks for your help

I still have some problems....
Hi,
well, which problems ?
Did you enter the right UTM zone ?
Send me the *.cal file, which is created when calibrating
the map with TTQV3, I will check what I can find, service@ttqv.com
