Closing program problem version 2.5

    I have Windows XP,when I open Touratech 2.5 no problem and work
    very well, but when I close Touratech 2.5 -jam- so I have to alt-control-del to terminate the program , someone could help ?

    what version of TTQV2.5 !exactly! do you use. You can see the exact version number on top of the screen at your left inside the blue window-bar. The latest version is 2.51.4

    I have just update from 2.51.2 to 2.51.4 and still have a closing program,
    I still use control-alt-delete to terminate the program but if I wait few
    minutes (1 to 2 minutes) them the program close !

    I time three time the closing process when you press exit
    and take the three time 40 seconds , if that could help?

    I never heard about this problem with XP,
    with 98 and w2k it does not exist, I use these by myself.


    Just for testing purposes: can you set TTQV to win98 compatibility mode, see whether it closes quicker.


    Is a virus scanner running in background ? Close it just for testing and shut down TTQV.


    Please give details of your PC, Processor, Memory ?


    I will ask in the German forum whether somebody there has seen this behaviour!

    while TTQV is shutting down, does the LED of your harddrive burn permanently, indicating harddrive activity ?

    my knowledge is not enouph at this moment to switch
    TTQV in windows 98 mode but I will try !!!


    Still have the problem with disabling virus scanner...


    I will re-load all the program and start by scrach and also
    I will put back my version that I buy and come with the
    box because before I upgrade evrything was perfect..
    so let try if the problem come from somewere else!

    Dell latitude,1.8 intel,512 memory (Laptop)...brand new!

    when I close the program the light of the hard drive act normaly
    then if I want to close faster then 40 second I press alt control delete
    and I see the box open and said that he have no answser from the
    program..

    my guess is, it is the virus scanner ! Can you disable or uninstall him for testing purposes ?

    I re-load WindowsXP last night and when I try after I still have the
    same...problem, so I'll go sleep.
    This morning I open the program and them close and still 40 seconds.
    So I said I will live with that,them you will not beleive but this afternoon
    I open and close it three time and PERFECT !!!
    So I am very sorry but it is look like resolve but I do not know why?
