simply download the latest TTQV4 !!complete setup (TTQV4.0.123c)!!
and install right over your existing TTQV4 installation. Then TTQV4
will work with Win7!

How about the weather at the other side of the pond

From all we found out until now, there is no problem running the recent
TTQV4 release (4.0.123c or better) with Win7-64bit.

However, if it comes to special features, where external dlls are involved,
like creating Garmin maps, reading *.ecw, capturing GEarth I am not certain.
I do not remember any complaints dedicated to Win7-64bit, but I rather
suggest to test this explicitly.

I think I will create a thread to collect what was tried using win7 in -32bit
and -64bit, so we have this info at hand!

Je veux changer mon système d'exploitation, mais avant de prendre la version 32 ou 64 bits, je vais installer une version Beta du 64 Bits de Windows 7 pour faire quelques tests avec TTQV 4.
Peut-on espérer que la version 5 de TTQV soit entièrement compatible avec le 64 bits?

We will definitely do what we can. But if it comes to modules of external
programmers, we rely on them. Until now it is looking good!

Depuis que j'ai changé de PC avec WIN 7 64 bits et réinstallé TTQV4 version 4.0.123c lorsque je veux exporter une trace vers PathAway j'ai le message ci-dessous:
QVError:-126
PWDBLIB.dll
Erreur de conversion c:\user\GG\AppData\Local\Temp\qv3925.tmp\.......
Si non pour le reste tout va bien..
Si quelqu'un a la solution merci d'avance.

Hi,

there are several reasons possible:
- possibly your device manager for PDAs is blocking the direct database access to your PDA
- possibly the pwdblib.dll module is not compatible with win7-64bit
- possibly the names of the database or Track you want to export includes
signs/letters which cause the problem. Do not use punctuation marks, blanks
or any letters with accents.
- maybe it would help to restart your PC and rerun a recent TTQV4 complete
setup (4.0.123c) right over your existing installation. You dan download the
!!complete setup!! from our homepage!

Beside that, there should be a chance to export tracks as *.gpx file, copy it
to your SD-Card and import this file in PW5. This also works the other
way round.
