Windows XP and QV 2.5

    I have QV 2.5 installed on my new computer with Windows XP. GPS connection worked just fine with my old Windows ME computer. Now there seems to be no connection, no matter which com port I choose. Dell tech support is useless. They say it must be your problem, and I should contact you for a fix

    do you use the latest update?
    Correct settings for protocol in gps and ttqv?
    Any other program running which uses a com-port? E.g. Palm Hotsync blocks the com-port and only if I close hotsync I get a connection to my gps.
