Garmin Trek Map V3

    DEAR SIR,



    I PURCHASED THE GARMIN GPS "MONTERRA". THE GARMIN GPS INCLUDES THE TREK MAP V3.
    IF I TRY TO LOAD THE MAP INSTALLED ON THE MEMORY CARD OF THE GPS ON TTQV, TTQV ENDS SUDDENLY AND NOT CHARGE THE MAP.


    THE MAP FILE IS A .IMG FILE. I CAN TO IMPORT THE TREK MAP V2!!!
    WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

    Hi Valerio,
    I fear there is no solution.
    Garmin does not want that other programs access their maps. So for several years they have encoded their maps in a special format which is not accessible by QV.
    Sorry, but Garmin is responsible for that! :cursing:
