Following track on the map

what are you doing exactly?
Are you using your GPS connected to a Notebook in online mode?
Is the protocol switched to NMEA in your gps unit?
Is the gps recognized by ttqv?

this is probably due to a corrupted logging database:
- shut down TTQV
- update to the latest TTQV4 release (4.0.79)
- open the folder c:\program files\ttqv4\qu4\ using MS-Explorer
- rename the file "GPS Online Logs.qu4" to "GPS Online Logs-old.qu4"
- start TTQV4 and compress your database folders
- try again using the online mode?

If you use TTQV4, there is no reason not to update to the latest release!

have you tried the point with renaming the online log database? Jockels guess was that this database may be corrupted.
The update suggestion was only to update to a newest release because you wrote your question in the ttqv 4 forum.

I recommend updating to TTQV4 Power User using item:
"Upgrade QV 3 Standard to QV 4 Power User, Euro 109.00, 01-090-4054-0"

But you should first download and install TTQV4 and run it as Demo for
25 days. All features are enabled!
