Track download problem with Vista

Hi,

I just received an error message after 84% of a track download. (of a total of about 3420 track-records)

Error in Garmin-datatransfer:

Errorcode: 0
No response from device op port 2.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm using TTQV 2.51.67, Etrex Vista 3.20

Is the downlaod always incomplete if you'd restarted the download once again?

Possible reasons are other software programs blocking com-port - but during a download it seems strange to me that this might happen.

Unfortunately, I retried it several times, but everytime it went wrong.
Has never happened before.
Mapsource is happy to download the trackpoints.
TTQV will download waypoints, routes, but stops bfore reaching 100% of the track points.

Any additional info that might be of any help?

Hi,

Please send us a debug.txt recorded while downloading this track and we will try to reproduce this.
Also send us the track from Mapsource.
Please mail at service@ttqv.com.

Please try the 72: http://www.ttqv2.de/files9/qv25upd-72.exe

Run QV in normal mode, not in debug-mode. If the error still occurs, we need the mapsource file, which you downloaded succesfully.

But, eh....
Could you explain what happened?
Trackpoints from Holland? Or just an act of God?
